The scriptures say; “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it” -Proverbs 22:6.

A2J

Addicted 2 Jesus - 6th - 12th Grade

Is there something for my teen(s)?

It’s tough to raise teenagers and we take seriously our desire to help parents see their teens grow and mature with Godly values.

NorthStar’s Youth Program (A2J) has a passion for growing the faith of teens and pre-teens and a true heart for reaching middle and high school students by showing God’s love in action.

We encourage our students to connect through weekly youth services, fun activities and youth events throughout the year.

Email our Youth Director to learn more about all our Youth Program has to offer!

Here is a look at what your student will experience each day at camp:

  • Quiet Time – Each morning, students will have the opportunity to spend time with the Lord, working through a devotion we provide to reinforce the camp theme.
  • Morning Celebration – Camp attendees will gather to kick off each day in a high-energy way with worship, games, and a word from the camp pastor.
  • Bible Study – Spending time in God’s Word is top priority at FUGE. Students will be led by one of our staff members in a study that aligns with the camp theme.
  • Worship – Each evening, all camp attendees gather for a time of corporate worship, prayer, and a message from the camp pastor that reinforces the biblical theme for the day.
  • Church Group Devotion – During this time your student will participate with NorthStars church group to unpack the way the Lord is working in their lives during their time at camp.
  • Night Life – These events take place in the evening at camp and allow students to participate in camp programming in a really fun, interactive way. Don’t be surprised if things get a little loud (or even messy!)
  • Intentional recreation time– These activities helps connect their lives to the camp’s daily theme.

Every element of camp is intentionally designed to connect students with God, His Word, their peers, and student ministry leaders.

This is truly a life-changing opportunity for students to grow in their faith and to learn how to be evangelists for Christ.

Men's Group

Time is a limited and valuable commodity. Where that time is spent can say a lot about who a man is and what he values. Life is full of experiences and growth opportunities, but it can also be a challenge to find balance with our time.

We recognize that men shouldn’t navigate that challenge alone. With Men’s Groups gatherings, we can find strength through friendship, encouragement when we see we aren’t alone, and growth discovering the men we are meant to be as Christ as our example. Contact Paul Jung to learn about different opportunities.

Praise & Worship Ministry

The goal of the Praise and Worship Ministry is to lead and assist the congregation of NorthStar Church in structured corporate worship during Sunday services, and to encourage them towards and model for them a lifestyle of sincere worship that is consistent every day of the week.

What is worship? Worship is our entire being responding with praise for all that God is, glorifying Him through our attitudes, actions, thoughts, and words, based on the truth of God as He has revealed Himself. Therefore, worship is not an outward observance or ritual, nor does it require a certain location; it is a consistent, deliberate, active lifestyle devoted to solely bringing glory to God in every choice and area of life (1 Cor. 10:31)

The purpose of the Worship Ministries is to ultimately and entirely bring glory to God; their primary means of fulfilling this goal is by collectively leading and aiding members of the Body of Christ in corporate worship. Their motivation and desire is to point the congregation to the Almighty God, King, and Savior and to remind them of who He is and what He has done in and through them and others.
